What do I enjoy most about being a college consultant?
Thinking and planning for next steps after high school should be fun and exciting. I love working with students and families to help them demystify the college search and application process, as well as to reduce the stress and anxiety that sometimes comes along with these major life changes. Watching a student thrive in the right college environment is incredibly rewarding for me.
Tonya brings over 20 years of experience in higher education to her role as a college consultant. She has worked in admissions and academic advising at a variety of institutions at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has a warm and comfortable demeanor that brings out the best in her students.
Tonya grew up in the Twin Cities and recently built a lake home outside the metro area. She enjoys international travel, visiting her adult children in Los Angeles and Washington DC and spending time outdoors enjoying all that Minnesota has to offer.
